Greenville is a friendly city of about 56,000 with a wonderful downtown area that was a 2003 Great American Main Street Award winner. The city sports a cosmopolitan flair that’s partly the result of over 200 international businesses in the area - Michelin, BMW, IBM, Hitachi, and Bowater are some of the largest. A wide variety of entertainment downtown includes the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, the Greenville Little Theater, Palmetto Expo Center, and the 16,000 seat Bi-Lo Center that hosts sporting events and big name concerts. And the area’s huge assortment of fine dining will please every taste.

So if you’re planning to come here, just ask yourself one question - What’s not to like about a mild climate, very reasonable housing prices, and leaving behind the congestion of large cities?
